Foreign Minister of Timor-Leste met with Timorese Students

Foreign Minister of Timnor-Leste, Dro Zacarias Albano da Costat met with Timorese Students and Embassy staff in Beijing on 27 May 2012 to commemrate the restoration of Timor-Leste's 10 year anniversary and ten years diplomatic relations between Timor-Leste and China. The aim of this meeting was to encourage them to study hard as well as become good ambassadors of Timor-Leste to China.

H. E. Dr. Zacarias Albano da Costa praised the excellent relationship with China and extended his appreciation for hard work of all staff in our Embassy in Beijing, and thanked everyone on behalf of the people of Timor-Leste and government for their great contribution to promote Timor-Leste. His Excellency recognized the local staff for the dedication to ensure that the Embassy can do an excellent job of representing Timor-Leste in China.

His Excellency hosted a dinner for the Timorese students and the Embassy’s staff where everyone enjoyed the songs of diverse cultures performed by the Timorese students, their schoolmates from China, Cape Verde and Vanuatu
