The Embassy has organized an Outing to Cuan Di Xia Village in the country side of Beijing, for Timorese in China from 27 to 28 July 2013. There were 17 people participating. Activities conducted during outing were:

- Tourism, sightseeing around the traditional houses of the village and learnt some history about the village.

- Performance by 3 groups (of students).

- A presentation (by Mr. Azevedo Marcal) about the Embassy’s participation in the Expo of China and Portuguese Speaking countries in July 2013 held in Dili, Timor-Leste and shared experience and lessons learnt.

The visit was to learn some lessons from the Village that can be developed/addopted in Timor-Leste specially for tourism and eco-city.
