_{On August 30th Timor-Leste celebrated the 15th anniversary  of 1999 United Nation Referendum that led to restoration of our beloved country to mark the occasion the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to the peoples republic of china H.E.Ms Vicky Tchong and the embassy staff hosted a small social event for Timorese community in Beijing the anniversary coincides  with the arrival of the largest group of student ever  to be sent to China. a group of 25 has recently arrived in china which 23 were able to attend the celebration,Embassy also use this occasion to brief and advice our young peoples on their new life as student in china .the National  Anthem was sang,the history and personal experience related to Referendum was share by counselor Loro Horta and second secretary Fausto Sousa respectively.the celebration conclude with Timorese style BBQ with a lost of Aimanas ,the legendary supper hot Timorese Chilly.}
