The Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) is an association that aims at strengthening people to people friendship and partnership by organizing exchange visits of delegations, holding commemorative activities, initiating and hosting exchange activities including seminars, talks, and forums to enhance mutual understanding, build up trust and develop friendship with people of other countries.

Timor-Leste has been invited to this Association. Upon the invitation of CPAFFC, the Embassy of Timor-Leste has sent representative to attend the Association’s international conference in Vietnam, in August 2012.

On Thursday 25^th October 2012, the Embassy of Timor-Leste, represented by Mr. Helio Brites and Mr. Azevedo Marcal, has participated in a follow up meeting with the representative of CPAFFC to exchange information and feedbacks on the conference in Vietnam and on the future cooperation between CPAFFC and Timor-Leste.
